The project Pan Baltic Scope was presented at the European Maritime Day 2018 that took place on 31 May – 1 June in Burgas, Bulgaria.
The workshop about the “Data Availability for MSP: from Jungle to Structure” was held there organised by VASAB Secretariat and led by Ingela Isaksson from Swedish Agency for Marine and Water Management also acting as the Lead partner of the Pan Baltic Scope collaboration.
The workshop presented the current practices from Adriatic, Baltic and Black Seas on MSP data issues concerning MSP data availability from international and European sea-basin perspective, as well as discussed the benefits and challenges of transnational coordination of MSP data towards coherent maritime spatial plans in Europe seas.
The topic of Data sharing is one of the activity in this project as well facilitating the data exchange and cooperation under MSP consultations.
